In addition to leading and directing your Pharmacy Staff, comprised of both staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, you are accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. Additionally, you will:•Lead with Heart - display empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team•Motivate, inspire and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues' strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps•Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy•Successfully implement those solutions by leading your team to achieve specified goals•Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting•Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes•Align others around purpose to gain support and commitment•Facilitate a 'team' culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride•Apply acquired knowledge to help drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitorsYou will:•Ensure accurate entry of orders•Maintain security of the pharmacy•Adhere to required delivery schedules•Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.•Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.•Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.•Preparation and/or supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.•Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.•Knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.•Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on the needs of the business.•Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.•Other duties as assigned (these vary by location).This pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow. The contributions you will make as a Pharmacist in this role will position CVS Health as a leader within the LTC marketplace.This is a full time, benefit eligible position. Shifts are scheduled between 6am-1:30am Monday-Friday, based on the needs of the business. The weekend rotation is every other.There is no on call requirement for this position.Required QualificationsMust be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Florida, must be active & in good standingPreferred Qualifications1-2 years of retail or long term care experienceIV certification, experience or willing to becomeEducationBachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$38.63 - $83.17This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
