A growing healthcare organization is seeking a VP of Regulatory Affairs to act as a liaison with local, state, and federal legislative bodies, representing the company's business plans and interests.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Liaison between regulatory bodies and the company operating divisions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and their impact on operations.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with government entities.
  • Lead regulatory audits and develop remediation plans.
  • Respond to information requests from regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on the agency's operational systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal entities.
  • Represent the organization at State and Federal stakeholder meetings.
  • Participate in company meetings as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of government regulations and healthcare best practices.
  • Expertise in NYS OPWDD/mental hygiene law.
  • Experience in OPWDD/HH systems and hierarchical entities.
  • Background in healthcare environment or law firm.
  • Experience in government and legislative affairs.
  • Ability to educate managers on regulations and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management and presentation skills.


Salary: $150k - $220k/Year
