Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance Leadership:

•Lead and manage the overall quality assurance function for the manufacturing of aerospace components.

•Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system that aligns with industry standards and customer requirements.

2. Regulatory Compliance:

•Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace industry regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP).

•Manage on time new and delta FAI's for new product launches and process changes.

•Keep abreast of changes in regulations and standards and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

3. Process Improvement:

•Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

4. Supplier Quality Management:

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

•Establish and monitor supplier quality performance metrics and work collaboratively to address any issues.

5. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action:

•Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and other quality issues.

•Implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

6. Quality Audits:

•Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.

7. Training and Development:

•Provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

•Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability throughout the organization.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality processes, procedures, and records.

•Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics for management.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or quality-related field; advanced degree preferred.

•Proven experience in quality management within the aerospace manufacturing industry.

•3+ years of management experience

•In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards, regulations, and certifications.

•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
