Description

The IT Technician will be responsible for a broad variety of support services with desktop hardware and software, supporting change requests, projects, and troubleshooting.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support IT in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Lend IT support in areas such as project management
  • Other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED
  • Demonstrates advanced problem diagnostic skills and the ability to configure a PC, work with printers including setup ad troubleshooting, PC hardware installation, documentation, etc.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as OFiice365 suite and Exchange
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Basic understanding of Hyper-V and virtual machines
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems such as Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019
  • Basic understanding of networking and telecommunications, to include SMTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


Requirements

  1. Associates Degree in Computer Science, IT or related Field
  2. Previous Help Desk experience a Plus
