Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Power BI Publisher to join their team in Akron, OK.

The Power BI Publisher will work with a team of experienced individuals to assist and facilitate key deliverables utilized within the sales process, focusing on technology consulting.
  • Assist with delivery and capability excellence by designing, developing, and/or delivering a solution, service, capability, or offering.
  • Facilitate, and coordinate involved technology teams across multiple offerings
  • Assist with the development and design of technical solutions creating corresponding cost estimates
  • Discuss solution(s) with internal/external clients, stakeholders, and approvers.
  • Assist with building and integrating information systems to meet the customer's needs
  • Assist with business Case creation in support of value-add, value-creation, and transformation.
  • Facilitate client workshops. Transform use case and business case requirements into proposed solutions.
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
  • Assist various stakeholders with any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
  • Support innovation initiatives through research, vetting, and qualifying technology to support new offerings.
  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
  • Assist with presenting technology solutions to internal business line leaders and other approvers.
  • Assist with requirements gathering, application & business process inputs, and deliverables through the life cycle of an assigned project
  • Assist project teams and projects to develop new value-add assets supporting technology consulting offerings
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field from an accredited program is required.
  • Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
  • Oracle APEX (rarer tech, but someone who understands web design well may be acceptable)
  • Oracle SQL - very strong-- is required ( not looking for an Oracle DBA)
  • Someone who knows how to build a web app
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in standard electrical engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PPT)
