Coborn's, Inc. is a fast-growing employee-owned grocery retailer located in the Midwest. Our grocery store formats include Coborn's, Cash Wise, Marketplace Foods, Hornbacher's, Tadych's Marketplace Foods, and Sullivan's Foods and we offer unique online grocery home delivery services through our Coborn Delivers and Cash Wise Delivers locations.
Coborn's, Inc. also owns and operates liquor stores under the Coborn's Liquor, Cash Wise Liquor, Andy's Liquor and Captain Jack's brands. Additionally, our fuel and convenience division, pharmacy, in-house grocery warehouse and distribution center, in-house Central Bakery, in-house Fresh Foods Commissary, and Tops Cleaners are significant assets to our operations. We also have a handful of other retail entities in the markets where the fit is right: Little Dukes, Ace Hardware, Country Floral Gifts & Greenhouse, Caribou Coffee, Dunn Bros Coffee, and Erbert and Gerbert's.
Overview
At Coborn's Inc., we are passionate about our REMARKABLE people If you have a passion for supporting employees and would like to serve as a resource and partner in various aspects of human resources at our store locations, this position is a fit for you You will get exposure to multiple areas of HR which will continue to elevate your professional HR skills As the HR Coordinator, you will assist with general administrative HR functions, assist location leaders with talent acquisition, training and development, safety, leave of absence management, and much more
Additional job details include:
- Be a helpful hiring partner by assisting Location Leaders with posting open positions, monitoring applications, sending electronic offer letters, and updating the applicant tracking system as needed.
- Be the face of Coborn's by coordinating new hire orientation and completion of Form I-9, in partnership with Location Leaders.
- Assist with all required leave of absence paperwork for the assigned District(s) and track accordingly within Coborn's HRIS system.
- Enter all First Reports of Injury for the assigned District into incident tracking software. Partner with HR and the Worker's Compensation team to ensure compliance with all reported injuries.
- Partner with assigned locations to ensure completion of all necessary training for new hires as well as annual training requirements.
- Assist HRG, Sr. HRG, and HRBP in gathering details and information about employee relations concerns and investigations as needed.
- Partner with Location Leaders at assigned locations to ensure a positive working environment by creating and executing employee engagement activities and the United Way Campaign; assist in celebrating Service Awards, birthdays, and Coborn's Way Fundamentals.
