As a senior technical expert, the role combines platform architecture, integration oversight (including Mulesoft), and project delivery. The engineer partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to design scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance user experience, data integrity, and business agility. Responsibilities: Lead the strategic planning and roadmap development for Salesforce CRM systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and evolving business needs. Configure, enhance, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud (Pardot, Engage), and related tools using both declarative and programmatic approaches. Design and support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using Mulesoft or similar platforms, ensuring data integrity and operational reliability. Manage and deliver complex CRM initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, scope definition, project planning, testing, deployment, and change management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions that optimize business processes. Maintain system governance through effective security controls, user access management, documentation, and release planning. Act as the escalation point for critical system issues and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT team members. Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and configuration guides, to support knowledge transfer and ensure system integrity. Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system capabilities and user experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent work experience considered. 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years working directly with Salesforce CRM. Proven experience in administering and configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud (Pardot, Engage). Experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale CRM initiatives from concept to completion. Salesforce certifications a plus (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Integration Architecture Designer). Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand technical documents is required. Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, Flows) and administration. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including security, permission sets, data models, and role hierarchies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization required. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
