**Overview**

As our Certified Medical Assistant at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas - North Little Rock, you will help patients navigate their heart health journey by providing essential clinical support so they can achieve optimal cardiac well-being.

Every day you will perform a variety of clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures. You will be expected to accurately document patient information, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine compassion for patients.

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas is a cardiology subspecialty clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the heart and vascular systems. We take care to get a proper diagnosis and develop a personalized treatment plan to ensure the best outcome and quality of life for each patient. **Responsibilities**

+ Support and maintain patient flow to reduce patient wait times during clinic

+ Efficiently manage time by prioritizing each patients needs

+ Return/ Direct patient phone calls

+ Record/ verify medical records such as medical histories, medication reconciliations, and vital signs

+ Coordinate with hospital admissions and laboratory services

+ Diagnostic Testing: EKGs, Stress Echos, Lab, Nuclear Medicine

+ Assist clinic RN staff as needed

**Qualifications**

+ Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required. Certification must be nationally recognized for eligibility.

+ High School Diploma/ GED required

+ Previous experience is preferred, but not required

+ BLS through the American Heart Association is required

**Pay Range**

$16.00 - $21.83 /hour
