By joining our team, you will have: Work-Life Balance: (Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, 2 Fridays/month 8am-1pm) Time Off: Up to 3 weeks PTO + 8 Paid Holidays (PTO rolls over) Parental Leave: Up to 3 weeks paid 401(k) Match Health Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, HSA & FSA + earn up to $2,000/year when selecting our quality care plans Employee Assistance Programs: Free 24/7 support for personal, financial & legal issues CE & Growth: SPEAR access + continuing education Wellness Perks: $28/month gyms, 12K+ on-demand workouts when selecting our quality care plans Pet Insurance: Flexible plans + 24/7 telehealth for your pet Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Compensation: $19-23/hr + $1,000 Sign on bonus Qualifications: Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify X-ray certification where state regulations specify Additional Information: We provide?equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
