We are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle DBA who will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Oracle databases and eBusiness Suite environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Oracle technologies, including 19c,/12c/11g/10g databases and EBS R12, and will collaborate closely with development, DBA, and infrastructure teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Performance tuning Automation Plan, schedule, and oversee the installation and testing of new products and system improvements. Implement security measures to protect information integrity and confidentiality. Establish standards for Oracle eBusiness Suite technology stack usage. Stay abreast of industry trends in database systems and EBS technologies.

Acquisition & Deployment:

Participate in regional and global deployment projects. Estimate project timelines and costs based on database user needs. Provide technical specifications for application enhancements and customizations. Research and recommend Oracle products and services for procurement and development.

Operational Management:

Monitor systems development activities related to Oracle EBS. Conduct quality assurance and design reviews for projects. Collaborate with developers and administrators to optimize system performance. Communicate project status and issues effectively to stakeholders. Mentor entry-level DBAs and facilitate vendor technical support interactions.

Incidental Functions:

Monitor database environment for enhancements and alternatives. Consult with end-users and developers on database solutions. Assist with database design, performance tuning, and monitoring. Stay updated on technology trends and advancements. Support hiring activities and ensure compliance with equal employment policies. Minimal travel and flexible work hours may be required.
