The new Cognitive Operations, Research, and Technology of Experimental AL (CORTEX) group within Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a high energy Software Engineer to support the development of an AI/ML Model Deployment Framework and MLOps Pipeline. Our team works at the intersection of artificial intelligence and edge solutions, solving some of the hardest problems in space.

In this position you will:
Work side-by-side with software architects, data scientists, AI/ML research engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and software engineers to accomplish the mission
Be part of a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary team spanning multiple different programs within the CASS portfolio

Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in Python, C++, and/or Java
Experience with one or more DevSecOps software development practices and/or tool
Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field)
Desired Skills:
Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Gitlab, etc.
Knowledge of software architecture and design principles
Experience with, or knowledge of, the development of an MLOps Pipeline
Experience with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, service-oriented architecture, infrastructure as code, and/or containerization
Demonstrated proficiency in Python scripting and object-oriented development (Java, C++, C#)
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Azure
Ability to follow disciplined coding standards and practices
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
