Great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global manufacturing leader located in Goshen, IN
Our client is diversified leader on a global scale specializing in vehicle, RV, and Marine components looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for developing and implementing improvements in a highly automated manufacturing process environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing Operations with continuous improvement and process optimization programs.
- Develop layouts (AutoCad, DWG),
- Prepare time and motions studies, BOMs, routings, Work Instructions
- Chart process flow, Control plans, PFMEA
- Perform research on best materials and methods for manufacturing
- Prepare and maintain Gantt charts
- Provide support for any major equipment and process installation and setup.
- Interface with equipment manufacturer, operations, maintenance, safety, and quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to production technicians, operators and other production personnel.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for existing systems.
- Establish maintenance schedules, calibration needs, safety guarding and procedures, etc
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing engineering environment
