Develops, maintains, and updates Enterprise Content Management systems using content management software packagesOpenText Documentum. Develops Java/J2EE software applications. Builds and uses Shell Scripting to automate software systems tasks. Provides sophisticated operational support and problem resolutions for Documentum platforms. Consults with management, delivery teams, and Information Technology partners on all aspects of platform change. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing, maintaining, and updating Enterprise Content Management systems using content management software packagesOpenText Documentum.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing, maintaining, and updating Enterprise Content Management systems using content management software packagesOpenText Documentum.

Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions using platformsOpenText and Documentumto develop robust document management solutions with complex interdependencies within a financial services and business-to-business domain.

DE developing enterprise document management applications using Documentum productsContent Server, xPlore, Content Transformation Services (CTS), Process Engine, D2-Client, D2-Config and xCP 2.x.

DE extending Documentum application using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot; developing REST services using Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), Documentum Foundation Services (DFS) and D2 REST services; developing and integrating Junit tests; and ensuring code quality, and providing code security using SonarQube.

DE providing administration and support for production Documentum environments using Documentum configurationsCustom Object Types, Lifecycles, Workflows, Methods, Jobs, Audit/Retention policies, DQL's and API's.
