IMMEDIATELY HIRING - SHEET METAL TECHNICIAN (FIXED WING) - WICHITA, KS Join our highly skilled Maintenance Team as we open our new Part 145 Repair Station in Wichita, KS As a Sheet Metal Technician you will perform duties and responsibilities as listed below in support of the company's 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station. This will be a Repair Station location modifying and configuring state-of-the-art Avionics and EMS medical equipment installed on company operated Aircraft. Applicant must be able to accomplish all technical and administrative functions with little to no direct supervision. MINIMUM: (qualified sheet metal techs will have the following skills and experience) 5-10 years documented hands-on aircraft maintenance, structures and modification experience in general aviation and Part 135 Operations. Thorough knowledge of the Repair Station Company Manual System and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule during the duty period assigned. Possess honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. Must have own hand tools to complete sheet metal tasks. Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well. Familiar with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PREFERRED: Current FAA A&P License Relevant experience for a 14 CFR Part 135 and/or Part 145 Certified Repair Station FAA Inspection Authorization Relevant experience maintaining or installing Aircraft Systems and/or Avionics Systems, including Garmin, Honeywell or other similary systems Why Choose Guardian?
