We are currently seeking CNC Turning Operator for our second shift.
Our people make all the difference in our success.
As a CNC Turning Set Up Production Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland your focus will be to:
- Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
- Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
- Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
- Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
- Move completed material to the next workstation.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
- 6 months - 1-year related experience or training.
- Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
- Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
- Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
- Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
