The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. We enthusiastically serve over 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area in our community building initiatives through Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility.Under the supervision of the Director of Mental Health Services, The Mental Health Clinician will utilize evidenced based therapeutic practice to address youth and family difficulties including mental health, emotional regulation, self-esteem, socialization, communication, interpersonal skills and family relationships. The Mental Health Clinician will conduct youth and family intakes, assessments, create and implement treatment and behavioral plans. This is a part-time, nonexempt position. Requires a minimum of 10 face to face client hours per week. Reliable and punctual with ability to complete independent tasks while being part of the collaborate team and effort. D. Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal & nonverbal communication across diverse populations. Exemplary cultural competence. Skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.Familiar with the culture and mission of the organization Salary Description $55-65/hour
