Member of Technical Staff (Hardware Design Verification)

The Syntiant Hardware Engineering Team is seeking motivated and proactive engineers who can work with cross-disciplinary teams (Design, Firmware, Product Engineering).

In this role, you will develop scalable and re-usable verification environments and test cases to verify Syntiant's next generation Neural Decision Processor chip. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on self-starter who can execute the steps required to fully verify complex digital designs at block level, subsystem level & full chip level.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for verifying design blocks, subsystem & full chip.
  • Write and review test plans, develop test harnesses and test sequences
  • Responsible for test plan execution, running regressions, code and functional coverage closure
  • Contribute towards pre-silicon verification, chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
  • Be a hands-on self-starter who can execute the steps required to fully verify complex digital designs & full chip
Requirements

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with design verification and test bench development using SystemVeilog/Systemc
  • Expertise in developing test plans, implementing coverage models, and analyzing results
  • Experience with SOC/Subsystem level verification of ARM-based SOCs
  • Experience with scripting languages, e.g. Python
  • Experience with gate level simulations
  • Experience with chip bring-up & post silicon validation
  • Knowledgeable of ARM architecture and AMBA bus standards like AXI-4, AHB-5 & APB
  • Knowledgeable of power aware simulation methodology
  • Knowledgeable of SPI, xSPI, I3C, MIPI protocols
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
