Inventory Auditor

- Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of the incoming and outgoing products to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
- Coordinating and releasing cycle counts for the inventory department.
- In case of issues or defects, working with the Operations Team and other supporting departments to determine and implement corrective actions to avoid the reoccurrence of defects.
- Operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) for moving material to appropriate locations within the distribution center, training to be provided if needed.
- Review quality issues and determine the level of severity and engage with the Resolutions Team.
- Document quality issues and communicate with Operations and Customer Service.
- Identify, communicate, and execute process improvements to help prevent internal quality issues.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of quality performance.
- Additional responsibilities consist of monitoring consolidation lanes, resolving pick-tasking issues, staging and shipping issues.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Understanding of fulfillment/distribution center/warehouse processes and flow.
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy merchandise items.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work on weekends, as needed.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- 2 years' experience in quality assurance, operations, or a related field Inventory Management experience.
- Previous experience with order research and resolution is preferred.
- Previous experience using GP and WMS systems are preferred.
- PIT experience with reach truck and any other PIT equipment required.
- Previous experience utilizing a warehouse scan gun.
- Basic Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and good mathematics skills are required.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills are needed.
- WMS experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting most of the time.
- Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.
- Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Seldom required to crawl.
