Job DescriptionCNC MachinistCan work independently, efficiently, and effectively with minimum supervision.Can operate and set-up CNC 3 AXIS Mills and/or Lathes. Emphasis on Lathe knowledge and capability.Can grind and sharpen tools (Endmills, drills, lathe tools, etc...)Can decipher and edit Fanuc G code programsAble to perform First Article Inspections and "Buy Offs".Able to check parts and record measurements using micrometers and calipers / In-process Inspection.An understanding of how to read drawings, product requirements on the traveler, and know how to identify critical characteristics.Deburr parts while machine is running.Responsible for daily maintenance on production equipment, maintaining a clean working environment, ensuring that Foreign Objects are not mixed with conforming parts.Responsible for following all procedures for production and how to conduct in-process inspection of parts, and identifying and segregating non-conforming product.An understanding of all tool crib operations (returning tooling used for production).Requirements5-10 years experience in high precision set-ups preferredCapable interpreting drawings per ASME Y14.5M-1194 & GD&T a big plusFanuc G code programmingAbility to handle multiple projectsProlong standing for duration of shiftMust be able to lift parts max 50 lbsConduct operation first article inspectionsBenefitsCompetitive PayLong-Term Employment
