Job Description

Clearance: US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of support for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD), Health Readiness and Policy Oversight (HRP O) Program Office, to include policy development, program oversight, program research, and data aggregation and visualization development.
  • Provide support for Bio Surveillance, Medical Counter Measures, Medical Readiness functional areas.
  • Analyze existing policies, perform gap analyses, identify deficiencies and adverse trends, and make recommendations for policy and program improvement in support of DASD(HRP O)
  • Collect, analyze, and format health-related data for the government's use in answering inquiries
  • Draft and edit point briefings, papers, information papers, action memos, andvariousothertypesofformalandinformalcorrespondenceandotherworkproducts
  • Attend internal and external health-related meetings, providing appropriate level of meeting summary information and recommendations reports
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' experienceworking in an analytical, policy development, or data analytics role in a government health related environment
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.
  • Ability to successfully pass a DHA background investigation.
