Event Project Manager

to join our well known Fortune 50 client on a 6 month, 40 hour a week contract. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate and hyper organized about the event space.

This role will require working 3 days a week onsite in Cupertino, CA and could require some OT for certain peak times and travel.

Event Project Manager Responsibilities: Lead and run project schedules, timelines, matrices, and event communications for launches and events. Own the project timelines and ensure that deliverables are hitting deadlines. Work cross-functional with PR, Marcom, Procurement, Finance and external service vendors. Plan the various agendas and facilities for meetings. Develop and manage summary reports and statuses for the variety of audiences and stakeholders. Clearly define and communicate goals and status updates to vendors and stakeholders. Manage the project coordination of: vendor coordination, attendee experience, F&B, design, setup, breakdown and other event logistics and production matters. Present new ideas and trends for event concepts and improvements on processes. Taking an agile approach and ensuring that objectives are being met.

Event Project Manager Qualifications: 3- 5+ years of experience in project management for marketing/ events either in-house or at an experiential agency. Experience working in Keynote, Numbers, and other tracking platforms. Has experience managing projects from strategy through program development, messaging, logistics, vendor management, budget, on-site execution to post-event analysis. Experience being resourceful and delivering through ambiguity.
