JOB TITLE: PM Custodian
REPORTS TO: Custodian Supervisor
SCHOOL LOCATION: CICS Loomis Longwood Campus (9535 S. Loomis)
HOURS: 2 pm 10 pm
Start Date: Immediately
Compensation: $14/hr
**What Youll Do**
One of our campuses, CICS Longwood, is in need of a dedicated afternoon / evening custodian. The custodian will play a key role in keeping this 3rd grade through 12th grade campus clean so that its staff and students have a safe and pleasant environment that supports teaching and learning.
*Specific responsibilities include but may not be limited to:*
* Clean assigned areas, which may include the following activities:
+ Scrubbing
+ Disinfecting
+ Vacuuming
+ Sweeping
+ Mopping
+ Dusting
+ Stripping/Buffing/Waxing/Sealing Floors
+ Shampooing carpets
+ Window washing
* Assigned areas include hallways, classrooms, restrooms, offices, cafeteria, auditorium, gym, library, multi-purpose spaces, exterior grounds, parking lot, playground, and any other area assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.
* Use chemicals and equipment to perform duties.
* Empty trash from trash receptacles.
* Clean and sterilize restrooms and water fountains.
* Clean up bodily messes including vomit, feces, urine and blood in accordance with training.
* Assist Custodial Supervisor with cleaning projects or tasks.
* Help Custodial Supervisor train new employees in housekeeping procedures.
* Participate, successfully, in the training programs offered to increase the individuals skill and proficiency related to the assignments.
* Review current developments, literature and janitorial sources of information related to job responsibility.
* Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures.
* Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisor.
* Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.
* For Day Custodians: report for duty from 6:30am to 3:00pm on all workdays.
* For Night Custodians: report for duty from 2:30pm to 11:00pm on all workdays.

* Experience in a school environment is preferred.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:**
