A Master's degree with a structural focus is highly desirable. Experience : 8 - 12 years of bridge design, analysis, and load rating experience. Project Exposure : Familiarity with clients such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, County DOTs, and local municipalities. Standards Savvy : Proficiency in AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT, and ISTHA design standards. Software Skills : Strong knowledge of design software, including OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, and STAAD. Proficiency in MicroStation is essential, and familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is a plus. Licensure : PE license required; SE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
