Starting Pay $17.50-$20.50 POSITION SUMMARY: The Data Entry Clerk position is responsible for providing administrative and data entry assistance to the Department. This position will provide exceptional customer service and support to all programs and maintain the integrity of the data for the Houston Food Bank. Maintain professional business relations with internal staff and outside departments. Keeps management well informed of area activities. Adhere to PACT values. Solve It. Do It. Courage: Standing up for what's right and acting. Transparency: Doing things openly and honestly). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reliable, consistent, attendance is a requirement. This position requires punctuality and dependable attendance to meet the needs of the business, including attending and taking part in meetings and presentations. Processes and releases agency web orders in NetSuite, Waerlinx, and Suite Commerce Advanced (SCA), validates, adjusts quantities, and adjusts shipment information, when necessary. Creates agency orders and agency pallet tags for mobiles, food fairs, Brighter Bites, and other full pallet orders. Creates agency orders for special events. Makes adjustments and cancellations to agency orders, when necessary. Processes agency picks and invoices. Manages the administration side of online ordering systems SCA. Communicates with partners and other departments about any other adjustments, issues, etc. Provides partner customer service by confirming orders, addressing orders and delivery issues, receiving quality control feedback, etc. through phone calls and emails. Ensures orders match across all department tools (NetSuite, Waerlinx, Delivery Schedule, and paperwork). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: High School Diploma from an accredited school or general education development (GED) certificate 2 years of data entry experience with a strong emphasis on accuracy 2 years of experience in an office/clerical position Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Sheets, DocuSign, keyboard, 10-key Bilingual in Spanish preferred Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: NA Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The employee will need to have the average ability to hear horns, warnings, and alerts associated with a warehouse. While the job is generally performed in an enclosed office environment, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, strong food-related smells, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the employee will be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels (e.g., horns, fans). TRAVEL REQUIRED: No travel is required for this role. This role supports hours of operations at the Houston Food Bank facilities, as necessary, and may require flexibility (e.g., times of disaster, community events, company events).
