DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonthly Shop/Safety InspectionsForklift inspectionsShop safety inspectionEyewash station inspectionFire extinguisher inspectionsLifting chain inspectionsCheck expiration date on all certificates (air tanks, cranes, operating permits, etc.) and implementsYard Duties:Maintain machines ensuring cleanness/organizationResponsible for checking equipment in and outMaintain equipment ensuring all are operating properlyDaily Steam Rack/Mud Blaster Duties:Maintain proper working operation of steam rack and mud blasterClean all areas dailyRun through the daily operating checklist to ensure everything is operating correctlyParts DepartmentCheck in Freight,Pull parts and put away stockRun partsKeep warehouse clean and organizedOther duties as assigned.SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
