Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic materials management plans that align with production schedules and company goals. Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and standards in all material management processes. Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. Oversee inventory control systems to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure the availability of materials for production. Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for materials management that support GMP compliance and operational efficiency. Lead and mentor the materials management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Monitor and analyze material usage, inventory levels, and other key metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and forecast material costs. Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in materials management, with at least 5 years in a GMP-regulated environment. Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and experience in implementing GMP-compliant processes. Proven track record of successful supplier management and negotiation. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
