Own is looking for a

Marketing Events Manager

to promote our company across our North America region. The role requires a strong understanding of the demand generation campaign planning process and experience in campaign planning and tactical execution. You will coordinate and contribute to the planning and execution of company presence and attendance at external events. Your Day-to-Day Role

Own our partner-focused and customer ancillary events, ensuring seamless execution of pre, during, and post-event activities. Work closely with the marketing team to manage projects and assets for external events and marketing campaigns Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the Marketing team while providing details on the overall objective of each event to assist in strategy development Engage regularly with key partners across the Go To Market organization to grow the relationships via joint Slack channels, joint marketing activities planning, quarterly performance reviews, and more. Organize and facilitate company participation in various external events including, but not limited to round tables, online lunch and learns, networking events, workshops, and private dining events. Research venues for partner and ancillary event locations and plan company presence with vendors Provide coordination support for the Global External Events Calendar, working closely with relevant stakeholders within the company Manage distribution of new leads from partner and customer events to the appropriate sales teams Develop copy for event landing pages, email promotion, and social promotion Track and monitor deliverables to ensure event deadlines are met across all departments Conduct basic research and provide reports on industry trends and technologies related to event planning Maintain inventory of event marketing materials Create and ship event and customer related swag kits Partner with senior leadership across the revenue and marketing organization Your Work Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a relevant field required 3-5 Years of strategic external event planning experience. Preferably at a global B2B tech company. Knowledge of marketing tools, techniques and best practices including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Pardot, and Marketo Strong executive presence to manage executive stakeholders and event attendees Excellent presentation skills Able to effectively manage competing priorities; think and act proactively, and creatively solve problems A growth mindset, meaning you prioritize continuous improvement, you are open to trying new things, you quickly adapt to change, and you exhibit a positive can-do attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of social media platforms and email marketing Proficiency in Google Suite This is a full-time position. office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
