OverviewThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for efficiently completing design tasks in accordance with industry and organizational standards. In this role, Electrical Engineers collaborate with project leaders to implement conceptual and detailed designs, as well as develop the associated documentation. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding design standards by studying standards and best practices on previous projectsUnderstanding of the design process and typical project flow through each of the disciplinesWorking knowledge of at least one design discipline with some experience in cross training to another discipline/laneAbility to incorporate design concepts and standards into deliverables on simple projectsQualifications to visit sites by understanding safety and job-site visit best practicesCapability to complete deliverables using tools and softwareCoordinates design issues by collaborating with project leadersCollects and distributes information needed to complete design by working with project leaders, clients, and vendors QualificationsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
