Shop Welder (Temp-to-Hire)

Currently looking for a few Welder/ Fabricators.

Pay: $32.00 an hour

Location: Laporte, TX Shop

Shift: 7am-3:30pm must be able to work weekend and nights as needed

Weld test 6g pipe Mig Root and Flux out

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication and welding tasks
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Operate cranes and forklifts to move materials as needed
- Measure and inspect materials using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
- Work on sheet metal projects and perform FCAW welding
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues
- Assist with rigging, pipe threading, and ductwork installations
- Collaborate with team members on manufacturing and construction projects
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools
