The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes with my client and report into the General Manager of the site. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Support ISO and AS9100 internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Utilize quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Profile

The successful Quality Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or 5+ years of experience in related field
  • 5+ years minimum of experience in Quality for Manufacturing
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Standards
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) would be very beneficial
