Responsibilities: Work with the existing teams to provide architectural and solutioning expertise to existing activities. Review the current architecutre and provide a plan to implement necessary improvements. Design and implement mobile solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Lead a team of mobile developers and analysts through the development of a new product. Determine the proper technology stack for mobile development moving forward. Plan and execute the transition for existing mobile tools to the new technology stack. Work with the existing POs to plan out the remaining work for the year. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree At least 8 years of software engineer experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR Masters degree At least 6 years of software engineer experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR At least 10 years of software engineer experience At least 1 year of lead experience Additional Requirements: Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills: Deep understanding of native iOS and Android platforms and applications. Experience in mobile development, including native, hybrid, and mobile backend. Experience in mobile architectures and patterns, including the local device and cloud. Ability to design and implement mobile solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Ability to lead a team of mobile developers and analysts through the development of a new product. Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and a creative and agile mindset. Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure. Company Overview: Navistar, Inc.
