The Material Warehouse Manager oversees all material activities of the material warehouse department. Utilize Material Supervisor(s) and key personnel to ensure the accurate, efficient and cost effective storage and delivery of materials for Production.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee all internal material warehouse activities as it pertains to production.Ensure all inventory is maintained with agreed upon guidelines, and is real time verifiable within the system.Oversees all material warehouse practices and proceduresResponsible for the training, coaching and oversight of Material Warehouse Supervisor(s) and key personal.Responsible to ensure proper levels of staffing is maintained within the department, while adhering to labor costs.Continually follow up with warehouse personal to assure effective communication amongst the departments.Ensure compliance with Safety, lot tracking, QA, Allergen program and procedures.Maintain consistency within all shifts; procedural enforcement.Ensure timely material delivery and coordination to and from prep and production to in a way that eliminates production downtime.Work with supervisors to maintain warehouse performance matrix to include, Inventory turnover, cost to carry inventory, put away, Inventory accuracy and deliveries to production.Enforce all UDSA and FDA labeling and packaging guidelines for packaging and material entering the warehouse and production areas.Other duties with similar skills, work conditions, and responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:Associates Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or 2 year to 4years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.2-4 years supervisor/manager experience in a materials environment.Inventory software experienceManufacturing software experienceSupervisory Responsibilities:Oversight and accountability of approximately. 2 to 5 Warehouse Supervisors -. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
