Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist with job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate pre-employment background checks and reference checks.
- Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Process employee terminations and conduct exit interviews.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Prepare and file paperwork related to employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Benefits Administration Support:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and support open enrollment processes.
- HR Program Support:
- Assist with the implementation and administration of HR programs, such as performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and events.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Assist with the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach to HR support.
