As the Director of Accounting, you will be at the helm of our clients accounting operations, driving financial excellence and strategic initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements within the organization.

Job Responsibilities of Director of Accounting:

  1. Lead and oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in line with GAAP.
  3. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  4. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  5. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  7. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications of Director of Accounting :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
