Job Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management Specialist III to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of drawing and CAD files within the Design Support Services department. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling large volumes of technical data and will support project teams across various technical services and operations. Job Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management Specialist III to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of drawing and CAD files within the Design Support Services department. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling large volumes of technical data and will support project teams across various technical services and operations. Responsibilities Manage the checking in and out of drawings from our Master Drawings Libraries to ensure data consistency and security. Perform title block swaps and create PDFs from CAD files, maintaining high standards of accuracy. Extract drawing metadata and utilize this data to populate and manage external databases supporting various enterprise projects. Develop and run scripts and tools to edit drawing packages in bulk, enhancing process efficiency. Work extensively with Excel, utilizing VBA macros and advanced formulas for data manipulation and management. Create and manage bulk load sheets for database uploads, ensuring data integrity in systems such as Aconex, OpenText, and DvTDM. Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and consistency in all tasks, particularly in high-volume environments. Qualifications Proven experience in document control and data management, particularly with CAD and drawing files. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and formula creation. Experience with data management tools such as Aconex, SharePoint, OpenText, and DvTDM. Ability to handle large volumes of data with high accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop efficient processes. Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating across departments. Commitment to maintaining data integrity and security in all operations. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay Range: $30.00 $35.00 This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
