Job Summary: Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This position is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years in consulting engineering and project management, with a strong background in electrical systems design and specification. The role involves close collaboration with architectural practices, requiring excellent consultative skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Systems Design & Specification: Lead the design, analysis, and specification of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Project Management: Oversee all phases of project execution, from inception through to completion. Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and quality standards to ensure successful project outcomes. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, offering consultative insights and delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively within a multi-discipline team, coordinating with architects, structural and mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve cohesive project designs. Supervision & Mentorship: Supervise junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster growth and ensure quality standards. Contract & Budget Management: Lead contract negotiations, estimation processes, and budgetary oversight to align project scopes with financial goals and client expectations. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with applicable safety and quality regulations and standards, conducting regular reviews and adjustments as needed. Key Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. A Masters degree is advantageous. Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years in consulting engineering, with a proven track record in electrical design for various applications. Industry Expertise: Experience working on projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities is highly preferred, with knowledge of unique requirements for these environments. Professional Registration: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable. Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, including scope definition, planning, and execution, while meeting all regulatory and client-specific requirements. Security Clearance Eligibility: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance as required for certain projects. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and inspire team members at all levels. Communication Abilities: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Skills: Proficiency in supervising, estimating, and negotiating contracts, ensuring that project goals and financial targets are met. Why Join?
