Adheres to MercyOne Healthcare's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.What you will Do: Promotes and protects the optimal health status of children by providing health assessments and develops and implements health plansDelegation of duties per Iowa Board of nursing delegation model with health assistants- Functional supervision of health assistants through competency oversightConducts individual and group educational encountersMaintains compliance with applicable state and federal policies, laws and regulations and promotion of nursing best practicesCoordinates and oversees the provision all health servicesAdministers medication and treatments as indicated, conducts client interviews, assessments and screenings, administers immunizations. Hours/Schedule: PRN (As Needed)Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing1 year nursing experience in a school setting is preferredCurrent Iowa RN license; BLS; Mandatory Reporter; Valid IA driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Ministry/Facility Information: MercyOne Northeast Iowa provides expert health care to eight counties.
