Responsibilities: •Responsible for assessing platform-level performance across cellular technologies towards EMI and RF primarily Antenna sensitivity and Coex losses including: •implementing in-house test systems; and executing validation & characterization test plan •Performing failure analysis to understand low margin or failing behaviors making use of experimental SW/FW and mock-up hardware •Collaborating with test equipment vendors, technology suppliers and cross-functional staff to optimize RF parametric performance •Tracking validation status; analyze results; communicate issues & insights from dat •Bringing-up device-under-test and setups for validation preparedness •Key words to look for (in Resume, ask them to focus on Test not Design) •Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Client, FEMs in module packages for Cellular 4G and 5G •Hands-on measurement/debug experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal/RF generators, Oscilloscope etc.
