SCOR employees work 3 days per week in an office with the flexibility to work 2 days per week remotely.The role would be responsible for leading the SCOR Quality Assurance team and applying best practices and tuning, as well as working with associated development team(s) to drive required optimization, creating automated and load/performance testing strategies for the core processes and services of the SCOR life administration application.Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and communicating product defects, performance concerns and assisting with resolution. Enforce processes and procedures within the software development lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the overall Quality Assurance team deliverables, performance, development, and growth Lead and Manage QA staff on creating and implementing manual, automated, performance test, Software development engineering in Test (SDET) strategies Prepare and implement QA plans in support of the existing and evolving life admin eco systems Create and perform performance tests that execute system load that is identical to the processing volume of the current and future life admin eco system Establish and track key performance indicators of the overall application and backend processing jobs Develop and carry out methods and procedures for automated and manual product testing Performs risk assessments and process improvement Support various internal and external audit requirements Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes. Analyze test results and work with the development team to identify bugs and potential performance issues Must be comfortable working in a global team environment and support users Monitor and audit SDLC Process and Procedures within assigned team Managing the final quality on production release QualificationsMust have minimum 5+ years of experience leading and managing QA or other technical teams Must have minimum of 6-8 years total Test automation, Performance testing experience Must have in-depth experience creating test scenarios, test plans, test cases and test scripts Must have experience conducting functional, integration, performance, regression testing Must have experience in designing, developing, and executing SQL server Database SQL scripts Must have experience identifying application bottlenecks and advising the team for resolution Must have experience with Load, Stress, and endurance testing Must have experience coordinating/updating test estimates, time frames, etc Must have experience in SDLC, Agile frameworks like SCRUM and tracking systems like TFS, Azure Dev Ops etc. Must have strong oral and written communication skills Must have experience working with global technical and Business users Must have experience with various Microsoft technologies and tools including .Net, C#, REST, SOAP, Git, SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server 2012/2016, Microservices, Visual Studio and Azure Cloud Must have experience with Performance Testing Tool Scripting/Automated Test Execution (Silk, LoadRunner, HP test automation tool, Selenium Test Automation etc.) APM tool experience (Splunk, AppDynamics, etc.) preferred Financial / Accounting experience preferred Insurance / Re-insurance experience, preferred Relevant technical certifications preferred SDET Programming / Development experience, preferred Project Management experience preferredAbout UsSCOR, the 4th largest reinsurer in the world, provides insurance companies with a diversified and innovative range of solutions and services to control and manage risk.
