About Us:
Our SAGE Concord location opened a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in the summer of 2022 It is the largest Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the East Bay area. Our next-generation facility has allowed SAGE Concord to significantly expand its Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care services to the growing East Bay community.

Our Specialty offerings consist of Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. This new facility features multiple advanced Surgery suites, as well as sophisticated Trauma response and Critical Care capabilities. Our vision in SAGE Concord is to continue the expansion of SAGE's existing services to meet the ongoing demand for additional services in our community.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Client Service Coordinator to join our team
The compensation range for this role is between $22.00 - $26.00 hourly

About the Role:
As a Veterinary Client Service Coordinator, you'll partner closely with our doctors to ensure clients and their pets feel supported and cared for. Your responsibilities will encompass client communication, scheduling, patient management, and contributing to a welcoming environment for both people and pets.

Daily Responsibilities Include:
  • Welcoming and assisting clients and their pets, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Scheduling appointments, coordinating procedures, and managing clinic calendars.
  • Answering phones, responding to emails, and sharing information about our services.
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records with confidentiality.
  • Processing paperwork, verifying information, and managing payments.
  • Educating clients about pet care and answering general questions.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized reception area for clients and pets.
  • Collaborating with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handling emergencies calmly and professionally.
  • Addressing client concerns and escalating issues when necessary.

Preferred but not required:
  • 2+ years of previous experience in veterinary customer service roles highly preferred
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of hospitality experience (creating a friendly and receptive environment for clients).
  • Competence with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM and ability to use a 10-key calculator.
  • Reliable data entry skills for medical record management.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time role with a 4/10 schedule
  • Weekend and some holiday availability required.
