Job Summary: The Head of Supply Chain at EOS Aircraft, Inc. will oversee all aspects of the company’s supply chain management, from procurement and sourcing to logistics and inventory management. This strategic role requires a leader who can optimize our supply chain for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, aligning closely with our mission to revolutionize the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the company’s objectives, reduces costs, and improves efficiency and sustainability. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and ensuring high standards of quality and reliability. Procurement and Sourcing: Oversee the procurement of all materials and services, ensuring they meet our technical specifications and sustainability criteria, and are delivered on time and within budget. Logistics and Distribution: Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery of components to manufacturing sites and finished products to customers. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management policies and systems to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure the availability of critical components. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supplier risks, logistical challenges, and market fluctuations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance, to ensure supply chain strategies are integrated with company-wide planning and operations. Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainability within the supply chain, seeking opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and promote ethical sourcing practices. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the aerospace, manufacturing, or technology sectors, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies. Negotiation and Relationship Management: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong partnerships with suppliers and other stakeholders. Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk management. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Sustainability Focus: Commitment to sustainability and experience in implementing sustainable supply chain practices. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in supply chain or business management are highly desirable.
