LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a publicly listed client in the real estate industry to hire a Tax Accountant reporting to the Tax Director. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the downtown Los Angeles office. Expected compensation is $65,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience plus a 10% target bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for tax compliance
  • Prepare workpaper and supporting schedules for quarterly and annual income tax provisions
  • File returns for sales and use tax, real estate and business property tax
  • Assist in corresponding with external advisors and auditors

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented and willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Ability to interact with senior executives in a confident and professional manner.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • 1 year of experience in accounting or tax
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a tax compliance software (OneSource)
