Responsibilities Essential Functions: * Maintains and upholds the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP. * Sets the stage for a great visit by contacting clients ahead of appointments to set expectations, address questions, and request specific actions. * Warmly welcomes clients upon their arrival and escorts them to the exam room. * Real-time entry of medical information provided by the veterinarian during patient exams and ensures records are updated with diagnostic results as applicable. * Creates, presents, and explains treatment plans in accordance with the veterinarian's directions. * Collaborates with the technical team to ensure the completion of the veterinarian's treatment plan within the hospital. * Schedules follow-up appointments and future wellness visits. * Ensures the fulfillment of any required prescriptions, providing explanations to clients, and coordinating delivery if necessary. * Clearly explains discharge instructions and addresses client inquiries. * Handles client checkouts and collects payments in the exam room. * Conducts post-visit follow-ups with clients to inquire about the well-being of their pets and communicate any diagnostic, lab, or other test results. Additional Functions: * Performs other related duties as assigned.
