Position Overview Training Specialist:

  • The Candidate will work with managers to determine training needs develop and implement a training strategy, including planning, messaging, content and delivery of changes.
  • Assess training needs, training gaps, and create new material to ensure the end users are technologically ready to utilize the new system and new features.
  • Develop a training plan based on the new program features.

Required Skills for the Training Specialist:
  • 3 years of experience supporting training activities
  • 3 years of experience developing training material
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Understand the benefits and drawbacks of different communication mediums and channels, and be comfortable developing training written and visual materials
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
  • BA or BS degree (or 5 years of additional work experience in replacement of the B.A./BS degree)
