Vice President of Operations

Duval Landscape Maintenance is a leading provider of commercial landscape management services committed to enhancing and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces throughout Florida. Position Overview:

The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational performance, strategy, and execution within the Orlando region. This executive leadership role requires a results-driven individual with a proven ability to enhance operational efficiency, manage large-scale projects, and ensure client satisfaction. The VP of Operations will develop and implement business strategies, optimize processes, and foster a high-performing culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve company goals, ensuring excellence in project management, resource allocation, and client service.
  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and quality control, driving continuous improvement in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a strong operations team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with client needs and the consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring operations meet profitability targets.
  • Safety and Compliance: Oversee regulatory compliance and implement safety programs to uphold the highest standards of environmental stewardship and worker safety.
  • Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth opportunities and contribute to long-term business development and expansion efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior operations leadership role within the landscape or related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations and driving process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Orlando market and industry trends is a plus.
