Your role as a Misc Metals Estimator

Are you ready to take on a challenging and exciting role as a Misc Metals Estimator at Hanover Iron Works, Inc.? In this position, you will be responsible for reading and understanding construction documents and specifications, allowing you to accurately perform detailed estimates for small to large misc. metal projects.

Your expertise will be crucial as you determine material and labor costs, and input them accurately for proposals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers, wire and submit RFI's to GC for clarifications, and prepare descriptive and numerical proposals. Your role will also involve establishing working relationships with customers, tracking post bid progress, and analyzing the reasons behind the success or failure of bids.

What we're looking for in a Misc Metals Estimator

To excel in the role of Misc Metals Estimator at Hanover Iron Works, Inc., certain skills and software proficiency are necessary for success. Experience in the Steel/MISC Industry is preferred, as it will provide you with a solid foundation and understanding of the industry's unique requirements. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, as it will allow you to effectively analyze and input data for accurate estimates. Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is also preferred, as this software will enable you to efficiently review and mark up construction documents.
