Commercial Loan Relationship Manager

Credit management and sales position working with the banks business customers within the commercial loan department. The Commercial Loan Relationship Manager will be assigned to a specific group of the banks largest customers and assume responsibility for all aspects of credit management, including measuring risk through regular financial analysis, meetings to assess financial condition, as well as retention and sales. A thorough understanding of all aspects of the loan transaction is expected including the ability to make decisions on credit approval, loan pricing, collateral decisions, and structure. The Commercial Loan Relationship Manager will be given a defined authority for loan approval and shall have the authority to deny any loan.The Commercial Loan Relationship Manager will also manage the training, oversee the day-to-day duties and allocate the workload of the Commercial Loan Associates.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently interact with a specific portfolio of clients, including attendance at meetings outside the office.
- Sell a broad range of bank products and services to those customers, including Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Private Banking and Trade Finance products.
- Review and correct loan documents, and present them to customers for signature.
- Work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree, finance or accounting preferred.
- 3 to 5 years in the Commercial Loan Department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills (i.e. word processing and spreadsheet applications).
- This position requires regular travel by car to various locations throughout the Bank's market.
- Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
