POSITION SUMMARY:Targa is currently seeking a Pipeline Technician (Pigger).JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Pigging Operations, along with proper documentationMaintain and operate pickup and equipment for piggingSite cleanup and maintenanceAssisting other field operators, when necessary, where neededMOC's, Recognition of need and facilitation of proper protocolPipe Maintenance PSM Compliance Valve Inspections and Maintenance - At specified time frames, along with appropriate documentationWork Weekends / RotationCall Out Status / RotationEmergency Call-OutOther job duties as assignedMINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 1 year of related work experienceMinimum High School Diploma or EquivalentPossess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the companyInterpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendorsStrong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervisionSolid computer skills to include Microsoft Office SoftwareAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditionsAbility to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.Ability to work in changing climate conditionsAble to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standingFollow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex)Regular and Reliable AttendancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong Mechanical AptitudePrevious Field Technician ExperiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditionsAbility to frequently throughout the work shift, push, pull and lift at least a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 3-4 feet and maneuver equipment or parts as neededAbility to work outdoors in changing climate conditionsAble to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standingAbility to climb up and down ladders, stairs and platforms at varying heightsFollow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex)We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testingThis role is subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Targa policyEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:Targa Resources provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria and without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
