OVERVIEW The Quality Manager (QM) is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the overall effectiveness of the Site Quality Program. This includes but is not limited to the establishment and maintenance of processes and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 to ensure that all products meet and maintain internal and customer standards. This position will be responsible for the planning, leadership and operational execution of organization's quality deployment and process improvement efforts. The Quality Manager leads the education and training of our staff while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to support company improvement initiatives. Drive improvement to the department key performance metrics Manage all aspects of the plant quality operation to include audits, inspection, quality engineering, first article reporting, non-conforming product management, supplier quality, document control. Combine quality performance data for presentation to executive leadership Responsible for establishing Quality System procedures and instructions. Establishment of robust supplier quality initiatives and audits. Establish and maintain Site Internal Audit program and schedule. Oversee MRB (Material Review Board) process. Oversee and manage the Site CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) system. Manage the quality department personnel to ensure that all Quality objectives are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for management of both receiving inspection as well as production inspection processes. Setup and use statistical tools program (i.e.: SPC, CP/CPK, Gage R&R, etc.) to drive improvement while maximizing return on investment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) High level of organizational skill is required. Ability to work independently, in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Understanding of statistical process control methodologies Advanced communication and problem-solving skills. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years experience in product development, or product manufacturing in a Management capacity.
