responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities for assigned suppliers and/or commodities.

  • Aim to obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding and negotiation.

  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure effective supplier management.

  • Coordinate sourcing needs for new product development projects.

  • Complete supplier selection in agreement with the Global Sourcing Strategy.

  • Regularly report material costs and manage schedules.

  • Define final material logistics.

  • Act as a liaison for all sourcing activities with Design and Advanced Operations teams.
